Potala Palace, Lhasa Tibet

That night, under the full moon, we walked entirely around the Potala Palace with the endless flow of pilgrims. I played a Tibetan singing bowl while Tamara spun every prayer wheel. (some thousand or so, it's a BIG palace) We did this in honor of all the people that had traveled across the country to be in Lhasa at this special time. It was a very powerful night & very late, thick smoke everywhere, lots of chanting & singing. It was a timeless journey, i can still hear the prayer wheels spinning, the chanting & the bowl still rings in my bones from that night! We were the only westerners but felt at home as always among these warm hearted people ---- under the light of the full moon.
